Join the CASA movement by participating in
our seasonal giving campaigns.
National Child Abuse Month
Each April Savannah/Chatham CASA partners with a variety of community organizations and businesses to spread awareness about child abuse prevention. We raise money for volunteer recruitment and training through a number of charity sales, dine out nights, and outreach events. Check back soon for more information about next year’s festivities!
Each fall Savannah/Chatham CASA collects school supplies and clear or mesh backpacks to help our community's foster children begin the school year with the necessary items to succeed.
Secret Santa Initiative
Bring light to a child’s life by participating in Savannah/Chatham CASA’s Secret Santa Initiative this holiday season! We serve our community’s most vulnerable children – those who have entered the child welfare system after suffering abuse and neglect. While in foster care, our CASA kids await the love and support of a forever family – be it through reunification with their own biological family or adoption into a new one – and this void is felt most during the holidays. As a community, we can inspire joy in the lives of many children through giving this season.
Our annual Secret Santa campaign involves the support of area businesses, social groups, churches and individuals. Each Secret Santa is confidentially paired with a child or sibling group to fulfill their holiday wishes. The gifts are then delivered by our CASA volunteers as a special delivery from Santa!
Our community partners are selfless in their efforts to inspire a brighter smile and sense of belonging to the children we serve during the holiday season. Savannah/Chatham CASA will accept unwrapped holiday gift donations at our office now through Friday, December 11th.
